Le rôle

Intégré au sein du pôle digital de l’équipe Infrastructure, le stagiaire data scientist sera amené à travailler sur des projets data directement liés aux actifs en portefeuille d’Ardian Infrastructure (énergies renouvelables, transport, etc.)

Ce poste requiert une grande part d’autonomie qui s’accompagne également d’une supervision régulière par les autres data scientists et managers de l’équipe. Il offre également une exposition directe au management des entreprises concernées, ainsi qu’aux problématiques actuelles de décarbonation des infrastructures et de développement durable.

En fonction de la charge de travail et des envies du stagiaire, celui-ci pourra également être amené à travailler sur des sujets liés aux activités plus générales d’investissement et d’asset management du fonds.

The role

Integrated within the Infrastructure team's digital division, the intern data scientist will work on data projects directly related to Ardian Infrastructure's portfolio assets (renewable energy, transportation, etc.)

This position requires a high degree of autonomy, accompanied by regular supervision from other data scientists and team managers. It also offers direct exposure to the management of the concerned companies, as well as current issues of infrastructure decarbonization and sustainable development.

Depending on the workload and the intern's interests, they may also work on topics related to the fund's more general investment and asset management activities.

Le profil

• Étudiant en 3ème année (stage de fin d’études) ou de 2ème année (2ème stage de césure) d’école d’ingénieur ou école de commerce actuellement en Master de Data Science, Statistiques, Mathématiques, Recherche Opérationnelle ou domaine assimilé
• Première expérience en data science requise
• Maîtrise avancée de Python (pandas, scikit-learn) requise
• Anglais courant indispensable
• Toute démonstration d’intérêt (ou précédente expérience) pour le secteur du private equity, le secteur financier et/ou l’écosystème infrastructure (énergie, transport, télécom) sera fortement appréciée
• Bonne maîtrise d’Excel et Powerpoint requise

Profile

• 3rd-year student (end-of-studies internship) or 2nd-year student (2nd gap year internship) of engineering or business school, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field
• Prior experience in data science required
• Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn) required
• Fluent English essential
• Any demonstration of interest (or previous experience) in the private equity sector, the financial sector, and/or the infrastructure ecosystem (energy, transportation, telecom) will be highly appreciated
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint required
