The role
We are looking to strengthen our teams in Paris with a full time Junior Finance Officer. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all of the analytical, financial and accounting aspects of an investment fund. He will be part of Infrastructure Fund Finance team (located in Paris) and will oversee, manage all of the analytical, financial and accounting aspects of Infrastructure Private Equity funds.
Day to Day
- Manage Funds daily operations, special purpose vehicles of the portfolio and their accounting and cash monitoring processes
- Monitor and ensure funds operations are in accordance with legal documentation in place and comply with local regulations
- Work closely with other departments within or outside the firm:
- Investment Team
- Investor relation Team
- Product Team (support for fund raising activities for assigned funds)
- Management Company Corporate Team
- Compliance, Risk, Treasury and Legal departments
- Administrators and Auditors
- External service providers : legal counsels, tax advisors & banks
- Manage the debt related tasks (covenants, reporting, repayments, interest computation…)
Periodic Reporting
- Assist with the funds valuations, IRRs, and other performance measurements
- Prepare, review and process funds accounting, capital account statements, financial statements, and waterfall calculations
- Follow up and computation of fees including management fees
- Validate the annual accounts with the auditors
- Deliver ad hoc Investor reports
- Answer and asssist other Ardian departments for miscellaneous reporting
Global Projects
- Develop reports through the IT Tools (Excel, Business Intelligence, Efront)
- Help to improve processes and increase reliability of information
- Prepare the communication supports and investor deliverables
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Conduct proactive analysis of issues, diagnose problems, and think out of the box to identify solutions and improvement initiatives
- Upon the candidate’s capabilities and progression, she/he will progressively be involved in further tasks such as:
- Prepare the fund flows for various operations (deal fundings, syndication, investor reallocations…)
- Participate in the setup of new deals alongside the Investment Team and the legal advisers
- Support the Investment Team in tailoring the cash flow forecasts
- Ensure that all the new data is integrated in the Master Data Management and structures created in the IT tools

Profile
- Graduate from a leading business / engineer school or university (Master’s degree and / or major in finance would be a plus)
- A minimum of 6 months of experience (including internship) in audit or finance environment
